Dual French and American nationality, I live and work in Créteil about 15 minutes from the centre of Paris.
Independent translator since 2006, I have worked in partnership with a number of translation agencies and companies (for instance Photon Europe GmbH) in a variety of domains. Today, I concentrate my efforts on the area of environmental protection and renewable sources of energy. This has proved to be an enriching and valuable experience and allowed me to develop my business considerably.
Following my baccalauréat (specializing in science), I chose to study languages and international professional communication. I attended the Université de Provence (Aix-en-Provence, France), the Universität des Saarlandes (Saarbrucken, Germany), John Moores University (Liverpool, United Kingdom) and the Université Paris 12 (Val de Marne, France).
In order to maintain my skills and studies, I have continued my studies at various institutions (training centres, university) and on my own (reading, exhibitions, trade press). I participate regularly in workshops, courses and seminars and visit major exhibitions in order to keep myself informed on innovations in a variety of sectors.
It has always been my dream to work as a volunteer for charities in France and elsewhere. Today, I teach French as a Foreign Language for the association Écoute, Rencontre Formation 113 in Créteil (Val de Marne).
